Amanda Safra
A name stands behind the standard.
“A household asks for something no résumé can prove.”Amanda Safra · Founder, Ellery Agency
Good service should feel natural, not performed.
Amanda Safra was raised in the Philippines, where she grew up with an understanding of hospitality rooted in attention, generosity, and ease. It left her with the belief that still guides her work: good service should feel natural, not performed.
Earlier in her career, she worked with Tesla and Saks Fifth Avenue — environments where the standard of service is set high and kept there. Before Ellery, she built MaidProvider.ph, a licensed household staffing firm in Manila that she continues to lead.
Running that firm taught her the mechanics behind the standard: how to interview for judgment rather than rehearsed answers, how to verify a work history at the source, and how to match a professional’s temperament to the household rather than to the job title alone.
Ellery Agency brings that standard to private households in the United States: a practice built around the home, run by the person whose name is on it.
Accountable from brief through placement.
When a family engages Ellery, Amanda is the person accountable for the search — from defining the brief to deciding which candidates are introduced.
Her work centers on details that rarely appear on a résumé: how someone communicates, what past employers actually say, whether a work history holds together, and whether a candidate fits the rhythm of a private household and the people already working within it.
Every engagement is accepted and overseen personally. Searches are limited so each one receives that attention, and Ellery Care provides 24/7 human support by phone and chat throughout the engagement and after placement.
